Bel & The Dragon is a chain of up-market country inns located in beautifully restored historic buildings throughout the south of England. Most offer overnight accommodation and all of them emphasize good food and wine. I reviewed the Odiham branch in July, 2015 and the food was excellent. On Monday, March 7 at 7pm, the Godalming restaurant is holding a fine wine auction and supper for £25. Bargain of the week! The choices in the 2 course dinner include their signature roast suckling pig and chocolate nemesis. I will be there, so please don’t outbid me on the Muddy Water Pinot Noir!
