Playboy Bunnies pose outside the American Embassy to celebrate 4th July

--> In a shameless (but successful!) attampt to get press coverage for a special American-themed July 4th celebration in the Playboy Club, London, Playboy Bunnies from the Mayfair members club posed outside the US Embassy in specially-made stars and stripes Independence Day Bunny costumes.

The Bunnies are promoting a July 4th celebration at the club's Salvatore's bar, which will feature a bespoke menu, specially created cocktails for the night, and a live pianist.

It was not reported what the American ambassador thought of the publicity stunt - oh, wait, the President hasn't appointed an ambassador to London yet, although if insiders are to be believed, first in line for the plum diplomatic post is set to be Matthew Barzun, the Kentucky-based businessman who led the Obama campaign's 2008 and 2012 fundraising drives. Perhaps the Playboy Club, just round the corner from the Embassy, would make a good place for Mr Barzun's welcome party?
